Extended Description
Persimmon, the UK’s leading house builder, has launched a one-year £750,000 community fund to support local groups and charities across England, Scotland and Wales.
The Persimmon Community Champions is a national programme where charities and local groups and organisations can apply for funding up to the value of £1,000 to match money they have already raised themselves.
Each of the 24 Persimmon businesses, as well as the timber frame business Space4 and the Persimmon Homes Head office in York, has two grants of up to £1,000 each to give away every month, which means that £52,000 a month is available to fund local community initiatives.
