The British Record Industry Trust (BRIT Trust) offers grants to charitable organisations working in the UK. The scheme is intended to support organisations undertaking projects that encourage young people to explore the educational, cultural and therapeutic benefits of music.

Applications are considered annually in September and should be submitted no later than the end of August.

Organisations in the UK with a charitable status are eligible to apply.


Eligible Expenditure

Funding is available for activities that meet the Trust’s mission statement to encourage young people in the exploration and pursuit of educational, cultural or therapeutic benefits emanating from music.

 

Restrictions

Funding is not available for:

  • Individuals.
  • Scholarships.
  • Capital grants.
  • Grant donations outside the UK.
